The Government of Balochistan has established the first emergency service specialized in Balochistan known as Medical Emergency Response Centers MERC that provides healthcare in emergencies.
It is equipped with certified and trained Emergency Medical Technicians as well as Medical Doctors. The MERC Balochistan is home to 25 medical centers located on eight major roads of Balochistan Province. Each center is equipped with emergency personnel trained as well as supplies and lifesaving ambulances.

MERC 1122 Balochistan has announced job openings for non-medical personnel for positions such as Planner Office, Administrative Officer Office Assistant, Pharmacist, Control Room in-charge Help Line Operator, Driver and Watchman/Security Guard.
The appointment will be made on a contractual basis. Candidates selected for the position will be posted to Quetta. Candidates who are residents of the district in question (Quetta) will get preference.
Candidates who hold a Middle, Matriculation, Intermediate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree, along with the required experience, are eligible to apply for the MERC 1122 Balochistan recruitment.

This appointment is made for a period of three years.
