UK Work Visa Eligibility Documents and Required
Foreign citizens who want to live and work in Pakistan may get this visa.

Application Type
There are two types of visas on the internet :
Initial time (New) : You may apply for a new visa even if you don’t have an
active Pakistan visa.
Extension The application process for an extension of your visa when you
have an active Pakistan visa and reside in Pakistan.
Eligibility
Foreign citizens with a valid job acceptance and satisfy the criteria can
apply for the visa.
Documents that are required
- Passport
- Photograph
- SECP registration letter of the company
- Recommendation Letter from BOI (In the event of an extension mandatory)
- Contact Information for the Sponsor
- In the case of CPEC/Government-approved project, the letter of the relevant
department or ministry - CV of the applicant
- Covering letter to company’s head of the letter
- Company profile
- Employment contract
- FBR NTN certificate of the company
You must upload documents proving your legal residency, in the event you’re
not a resident of your home country , and you are seeking a visa from a foreign

In the event of ExtensionUpload evidence of valid Pakistani Visa for which
you want Extension as well as entry stamp on your Passport as a supporting

Duration and Validity
A entry Work Visa can be granted for up to 3 months (Single Entrance).
The Extension Work Visa can be granted for up to two years (Multiple
Entry).
In the event of an extension, make sure that you possess an active
Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan in addition.
Processing Time
The issue Visa Visa is the sole discretion that belongs to The Government
of Pakistan.
- 48 Hours (Working Days – First Time Entry)
- 37 days (Working days – First Time entry – For Afghanistan Passport
Holders) - 4 Weeks (Working Days – Visa Extension)
Please note When the Application is sent Reviewed and returned to the
applicant The processing time that was set will apply again (The process time
for the application will restart on the date of the re-submission of the
application).
The application will be in limbo if the applicant does not submit a new
application within seven (7) days after the date the application was submitted
to be reviewed.
