Japan has finally begun working visas for Pakistanis. The unique aspect of
the new visa program is that those with less education and even those who are
not matriculated may also apply. The confirmation is based on an announcement
by the Japanese Embassy in Pakistan on the 23rd of December 2019. “The

Development, H.E. Ms. Aamir Hasan, signed the Memorandum for Cooperation at the
Ceremony. H.E. The Hon. SONOURA Kentaro, Special Advisor for Foreign Affairs of
the President ABE Shinzo of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan (LDP) He was
in Pakistan on a two-day trip attended the ceremony and Mr. Zulfi Bukhari.

 

Which nations’ nationals are eligible?

Pakistan is now joining 9 other countries that include those from the
Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Mongolia, Vietnam, Uzbekistan,
Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh to be qualified to apply for the new work and
immigration visa policy that Japan which was first announced in April 2019.

 

What is the policy on work visas?

Japan introduced its latest “Specified Skill Visa’ (tokutei ginou, Te
Ding Ji Neng ) immigration policy on the 1st April 2019. As per the

on estimates, up to *345,150 foreign workers will be able to relocate to Japan
to work in Japan’s labor market.

There is no age limit restriction set in government officials of the
Japanese government. However, applicants must be at least 18 years old age when
they apply. The program of immigration may be an imitation of South Korea. The
current program is already recruiting an army of workers from Pakistan with the
help of the Korean proficiency test. Similar will be the case for this new
program. Candidates will need to be able to pass the test for the Japanese
language that is administered in the Japanese government before being selected

Work permits of various types created

 

In accordance with the law the work permit category is divided into two
kinds that permit work: Visa type 1 and Visa Type 2.

 

Visa Type 1 (Specified Skills Visa 1- SSV1)

Foreigners who have Japanese proficiency in the language and
industry-specific abilities are eligible to apply for this five years visa.
This type of work visa allows foreign workers to work in the 14 mentioned
sectors that are middle and lower-level of skilled labor. Candidates for this
type of visa will need to successfully pass the Japanese proficiency test and
technical examinations. In addition, they need to have a solid work history in
the field of work they want to work in. The visa will be granted initially with
